Coco-Mat Athens BC Hotel Review
Located at 5 Falirou, Athens 14561 – Get Directions
As a solo traveling female safety is a very important factor when choosing my accommodations. When I stayed here I just loved the 24/7 security here at the hotel is an added bonus to an already very safe location.
I felt comfortable walking around alone at night in the area, and I appreciated being able to speak to someone at any time during my stay.
The Greek people are so kind and accommodating, it is one of the reasons I visit Greece year after year! The helpful staff here at Coco-Mat Athens goes above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction.
If you read the guest reviews online, you will get extra assurance about what I am saying here.
The location of Coco-Mat Athens BC is truly unbeatable! The walkability is off the charts and the surrounding restaurants and bars are some of the BEST in ATHENS!
The nearest metro station, Acropoli, is a 2-minute walk from the hotel. To go to the Athens International Airport from Coco-Mat Athens BC you would take the M2 subway train from the Acropoli station 1 stop to Syntagma Square and switch to the M3 train.
The journey to the airport is around 1 hour. The trains run from the airport to the city center every 30 minutes from 5:30 am until midnight.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi which will cost you around 60€. Depending on traffic, the train might be your fastest option.
