Considering a stay at the newly-built Nival Boutique Hotel? I stayed here for three nights on my dreamy vacation to Sifnos back in September and wanted to share my honest review!
Finding the right hotel can really make or break your trip in my opinion. If you choose the wrong location it can somewhat affect your time at the destination. With only three nights in Sifnos, I knew I needed to make a good choice!
Now, I am going to spoil the surprise and cut right to the chase. Nival Boutique Hotel is one of the best places and I would stay here again when returning to Sifnos.

It gets my highest review in places to stay in Sifnos!
3 Reasons Why You Should Stay At Nival Boutique Hotel
Fantastic Location
When I was researching where to stay in Sifnos I was targeting an area that would be an easy walk to the local town. I didn’t want to be so secluded that I needed to drive everywhere. It wasn’t that kind of holiday. I wanted to stay in the village center near all the nice shops. Nival Boutique hotel is local in the Village of Apollonia.
The best part of staying at the Nival Boutique hotel is the easy access to Apollonia of Sifnos! The location of the hotel is just up from the main town a few minutes walk! The setting is quiet and peaceful, but still close to the action. It is my ideal location when staying anywhere.
Swimming Pool

Another reason Nival Boutique hotel is worth staying in is the seasonal outdoor swimming pool! On those hot summer days in Greece, a pool is a requirement for me! There isn’t a great choice of places in the main town that have a swimming pool. Some of the ones that do are more secluded, which is what I didn’t want. So Nival Boutique Hotel was definitely the right choice for me.
Relaxing on the sun terrace sipping on their inspirational cocktails from the on-site bar and soaking up the Cycladic scenery was the perfect way to end my day.
Friendly Staff
The staff at Nival are incredibly friendly and accommodating. From arranging excursions around the island to making sure your room is just right for you, they go above and beyond to make sure you have a luxurious stay. Plus, their home-cooked buffet breakfast options every morning is absolutely delicious! Not only do they serve a variety of local Greek delicacies, but they also make some of the traditional items of an English / American breakfast.
Why Nival Boutique Hotel is Special
The Nival Boutique has great style and the highest standards of comfort. For Sifnos hotels, I would consider Nival Boutique hotel to have a high aesthetic image.
They combine earthy tones, unique furnishings, and the finest raw materials in all their elegant spaces. Each of the air-conditioned rooms includes a private bathroom, flat-screen tv, coffee machine, free wifi, and free toiletries.
My queen size bed was ultra comfortable! If you can upgrade your room to include a balcony, I recommend you do so. I would wake up each morning and have coffee while enjoying the view of Apollonia.
If you rent a car on the island, you will be able to take advantage of the free private parking available to guests.
Keep in mind the beautiful island of Sifnos does not have an airport. The closest airport is the Milos island national airport. You will arrive in Sifnos by ferry and need transportation to reach the hotel. Luckily the hotel can arrange a pick-up if you need one.
Special Accommodations
Nival Boutique Hotel can arrange private transfers to anywhere on the island you want to go! It is a very convenient amenity that I took advantage of more than once!
Sifnos only has a few taxis, so if you don’t rent a car you will need to arrange for a pickup.
Closest Attractions to Nival Boutique Hotel

- The town of Apollonia is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Here in Apollonia, you will find all the traditional Greek restaurants and boutique shops. I loved going down to the village for dinner and having a look at the shops on my short walk back to the hotel.
- The town of Artemonas is a 25-minute walk from the hotel. Artemonas is the most picturesque Greek village worth checking out. Here you will also find little shops, cafes, and restaurants.
- Kastro Village is just a short distance by bus or taxi. The Kastro village is home to the Church of Seven Martyrs, the most iconic church in Sifnos. When you visit Kastro you need to prepare yourself for the hills and stairs!
When Should You Book Your Room At Nival Boutique Hotel

Travel to Sifnos is getting more popular year after year. I was lucky enough to get a room in September, but I had to book it months in advance.
I don’t advise waiting too long to book your hotels or your ferries in Greece! The best time to book is just after the new year!
