As a Birdy believer from the very beginning, I feel confident in sharing my review of the newly designed Wings 2.0! I bought my first Birdy bag in 2019, on sale with the refurbished bag program. The simple answer is yes! These new Wings 2.0 come with a LIFETIME WARRANTY! The original series does have a limited warranty of 5 years for leather and 2 years for vegan leather. The tech & accessories come with a 1-year warranty. You can always read the fine print for yourself on the Smart Birdy Website, but here are the details:

As someone who has used the bag extensively, I am happy to report that I haven’t needed any repairs. My OG Birdy is holding up very well.

What Is SO Special about the Smart Birdy Suitcase?
What I love about the Wings 2.0, and why I think Smart Birdy luggage is worth it, is the quality. This bag is made really well. I don’t feel like any corners were cut when creating this bag. It is intuitive, convenient, and so damn adorable.
This bag adds a high level of style to my solo traveling adventures! The features I find the most exciting with the bag would be:

- Shoe Compartment
- Overall Size of the Bag
I truly enjoy every detail of this bag, but those are just my favorites!
Should I upgrade my Smart Birdy OG for Wings 2.0?
Perhaps you are as obsessed with Smart Birdy as I am, have a bag, and are considering upgrading? I can tell you, you won’t be disappointed! The new bag has a couple more features that the OG bag does not. For one, the new bag is stackable, just not in combination with the old bag. The new bag has a different foundation than the OG bag does not.
If you plan to get multiple bags, you should upgrade to the Wings 2.0, and plan to get another!
I really appreciate the rear zipper pocket that is perfect for your passport. You will find this feature only on Wings 2.0. This is where you want to keep anything valuable that you need quick access to retrieve.
