The location was incredible. It's in a quiet area on the harbor with a beautiful view. There's wonderful restaurants very close to the hotel, and there's a great breakfast buffet just a short distance down the road that we went to every morning. The room was spacious and had just about everything you could need. Our host, Athina, was wonderful and very accommodating. She greeted us at the ferry, inquired regularly if there was anything we needed for the room, brought us an occasional treat, and had great suggestions when we asked.

The owner - Athina - was so kind, efficient and just wonderfully helpful. I would recommend this studio/room with its outside balcony to everyone. The only drawback was the many steps leading up to the studio while carrying luggage - BUT, Athina was there to meet us and had someone there to help with luggage. I would also recommend arranging the 5 euro taxi beforehand as it was so easy to get from the ferry to the studio.

Athina was a lovely host, always available to help and speaks good English too. She emptied the rubbish in our rooms daily and even left us a delicious bakery treat one day, so kind. Athina and her husband also helped us carry our heavy luggage up the stairs to the room. The room we booked was the loft room with one double bed up top and one single bed down below, there is no balcony but there is seating by the door to take in the amazing sea views! The accommodation is very clean & tidy, we felt very comfortable & cosy during our stay. The accommodation is very close to all the shops & restaurants along the harbour/waterfront and a short walk to where the buses & boats/ferries leave from. Would love to return again one day!

Privacy, cleanliness, location. Lovely terrace with parasol, plants, great view. Shared with another similar apartment but pleasant to chat. Very quiet at night but easily walkable to town and great restaurants. Linen changed frequently, bins emptied daily, studio cleaned. Excellent.

Close to everything but tucked away in a quiet corner with a great sea view. We could enjoy the town of Symi. Without being in the middle of it. Athena was lovely, checking everything was ok and cleaning everyday. We could leave our cases with heron the last day which was a real help. Studio was comfortable and we had a shared terrace and enjoyed a chat with our neighbours it we weren’t too close and had our own space.

We had the best week staying at Athina Studios. Everything was perfect and the place has everything you might need. Athina and her husband were both incredibly helpful - even greeting us with pies and biscuits throughout our stay. Location is perfect - 5 min walk away from everything and a beach right around the corner. Can’t recommend the place enough. Worth noting that you have to go up around 40 steps to get to the room so not for those with limited mobility.

We loved everything at Athina Studio. One of the best places we ever stayed. The terrace was lovely. It was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. Close to restaurants and short walk from the port. Athina was so welcoming og friendly.

The location was great, very close to Simi centre, bars and restaurants and also the bus station. The sweet mrs Athena was very helpful and kind. Athina studio was a great choise.
